Wolverine & Mower King Brush Cutter Replacement Parts

Here are common replacement parts for your 6ft/72 inch Wolverine & Mower King skidsteer brush cutters. If you have a particular model or part you need a replacement for send me the model number and brand name and I will try to find you an equivalent part.

If you just want to replace it I am told that the following gearbox is a drop in replacement. I haven’t tested it myself however.

Please note: Certain years of the Wolverine & Mower King brush cutters used different length top shafts on the gear box. When you replace the brush cutter gear box it may be necessary to drill 4 holes and shift the hydraulic motor mount up to 1.5 inches further back or to cut off the top shaft of the gear box to match the one on your brush cutter.

The biggest mistake people make is not realizing the gear box on their brush cutter doesn’t have oil in it when it is shipped.

Basic Blade Replacement (See blade carrier replacement kit below)

I can’t find an original replacement blade for the Wolverine brush cutter. Anyway the blade was undersized for something this powerful and the bolts will wear out because they don’t have the proper blade shoulder. When you need to replace the blades I recommend using the following parts if you want to retain the original blade carrier. Note that you may need to grind the notch off the bolts or enlarge the hole in the bolt carrier slightly.
